Craven the crocodile

My first children’s book commission from 2022. The story follows Craven, a young croc, on a journey of self-discovery with guidance from the pals he meets along the way. Author, David Lewis, intended for this book to be used as a tool for play therapists with the aim to encourage their young patients as they embark on their own journeys. With that, the illustrations use symbolism and visual metaphors as an alternative to mature vocabulary and jargon for more efficient communication with the young audience.
